Why bride is supposed to have groom caste after they get married.

As I was watching video in YouTube, arise a question why bride is supposed to have groom caste after they get married. I was searching for the answer and why, I don't know, immediately get answer, it may be right or wrong, it's my opinion.

Caste is determined by the work in preliminary ages. When women go to man house after getting married then most of the women involve in the work, which her spouse used to do, which make the women caste to her spouse caste.
