Me and my friend, as a student of grade 12 (School leaving certificate, SLC, level), on first day of 12th, have a conversation with the Economics Teacher who newly came to our school. When we had our talk, suggested him (Economics tutor) more focus on concept of the economics term rather than providing notes. He disagrees with our suggestion. As per him, a lot of my classmates or student for him can't attend in exam without those notes. He also said that he had to show to the parents and school principal if students failed in exams. At last, he says, "our education system is going this way so I should also move forward this way." He added that, "In master's and bachelor's degree professor is going to give notes PDF and have to print out and read by ourselves."
After that, I question, who is going to change this? and I said that you can take first step towards changing. You don't have to follow what you experienced. But he ended up with making excuses.
So here who is the problem. Is it him? Is it us, student? Is it his professor or government? Who is going to change this if no one is ready to change.
This system should be changed as soon as possible. I know it is going to be a difficult task to change immediately and going to take a lot of years.
We all know Youths are the backbone of the nation. Youth are the country's manpower and future makers. If after the SLC, young generation began to move then who is going to make sure the dream of Mother Nepal.
